Increasing Rank Checking Frequency

Postby Clock » Sat Oct 06, 2012 1:15 am

Hi There,

First, big SEO Panel fan.

I work in an industry with lots of QDF keywords, and we see things jump around even more frequently than daily (think news)

How hard would it be to increase the rank checking frequency from daily up to every two hours? I've tried just making the cron job more frequent, but this doesn't appear to do the trick.

It's not a massive subset of keywords, so getting the host blocked from google for checking too frequently isn't a big concern.

Any tips or suggestions?

Thanks for your comments.

And about your issue, Please do following steps to change the cron feature like you need

1) Edit file

seopanel/config/sp-config-extra.php

2) change

Code: Select all
# seo panel multiple cron execution possible same day
define('SP_MULTIPLE_CRON_EXEC', 1);

to

Code: Select all
# seo panel multiple cron execution possible same day
define('SP_MULTIPLE_CRON_EXEC', 0);

Please try this :)
Thanks,

Absolutely Awesome, thanks so much. Giving it a shot now. Any ideas on having the charts support it as well?

So changing that option and making the cronjob run 4 times a day doesn't appear to actually expose the information anywhere in either charts or tables more than once a day.

Any ideas into what I need to modify next?
