Yes Google AMP is still helpful. AMP is a Google-backed project with the aim of speeding up the delivery of content through the use of stripped down code known as AMP HTML.

Yes AMP is still helpful in SEO and Google has introduced a new tool to check the AMP of the website. You can collect the information from the Google Official SEO Blog.

The Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) Project is an open source initiative that embodies the vision that publishers can create mobile optimized content once and have it load instantly everywhere.Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) is out and has been speculated to have two benefits for SEO. One is it will have a “Fast” label designation on search engine results pages, and the other is that it will be a ranking factor.

Of course Yes, AMP is very helpful for you website.
