Hi, recently I have checked my website title tag and as well as the description tag, in the Google SERP the total character is increased in the title and as well as description.

Have anyone noticed the same. Please share your ideas behind this.

Optimal Length for Search Engines. Google typically displays the first 50-60 characters of a title tag, or as many characters as will fit into a 512-pixel display. If you keep your titles under 55 characters, you can expect at least 95% of your titles to display properly.

Meta descriptions can be any length, but search engines generally truncate snippets longer than 160 characters. It is best to keep meta descriptions between 150 and 160 characters.

Limitations of Meta Description Length: It should be limited up to 160 characters. As after the text goes 160 characters, it’s truncated & SERPs visitors could not see the text after it.
Limitations of Title Tag Length: It should be of maximum 65 characters, however there is no such limitations, Google currently displays up to 600 pixels text, which may also include texts of 70 characters which includes letters such as I or i.

The meta description tags and title tags have the limitation of total number of characters.
