Making the most out of combining SEO insights with social media marketing tactics can be accomplished with a roadmap that identifies the audience you’re after, the goals you’re trying to reach (and can measure) as well as a strategy that sets the stage for the tactics you’ll use to execute your game plan

Social Networking is just another way of spreading the word about your website, you can setup a page for your business, the more places your business / website is seen with links to your website the better it is for allowing people and search engines to find your website, services and products.

It works for the SMO that is social media optimization.SMO provides strong support for SEO.SMO takes the advantage of social networks where thousands of people share their views and ideas...needs and thoughts....so it is the best place to get introduced by yourself and make others know about you...thereby inviting a lot more traffic for your site.

There is a possibility that your social media and SEO strategy may not overlap at all. You should be prepared for the possibility of targeting search engines through SEO and targeting individuals through social networking.

1. Social media can help search engines find and index your content faster.
2. Likes, shares, retweets, etc. indicates to search engine that content is new and interesting, often leading to a temporary increase in rankings.
3. Your content will increase in search results for people connected to you.
4. Increases domain authority and the number of inbound links to your website.
