How long do directories take to get submissions?

I did a submission to about 50 directories two weeks. Only one has succeeded so far. How long does it typically take to be accepted?
I got a lot of emails from the directories. What % of them include you even if you don't buy the upgrade?

It takes less time to get submission of the directories.

You should probably submit 20-25 directory a day

it really depends on the owner of the directory service when will they approve your submission.

Hi!
Confirmation of submission always depend on the owner of Directory sites. Different website takes different time. for example if you submitted your domain name in DMOZ.ORG then it will take 5-6 months time to submit your domain name in his directory.

This entirely depends on the directory owner. Some directories approves your website link quickly and some may take few months. We do not have control over link approval or rejection.
