Wrong results (and that's not the 10/100 results page issue)

Hi everybody,
I'm testing out Seo Panel and I think it's a nice software, nonetheless I'm experiencing some weird behaviour on the reporting side.
I've been using Seo Panel since five days with cron reporting enabled, but every time a report runs (either manually) I see strange or simply wrong positioning reports – and running it twice will fix the problem!
It's like Seo Panel is a little bit distracted and then running the report again he gets back on track

I'll show you what I mean.
I run this report on a keyphrase I know the site ranks #1.
And I get this wrong result (note the today report: now it's in the 22nd place and with another page - it skips the #1 page!):


Then, knowing that's wrong, I just run it again and I get the correct results:



This happens with the five sites I'm currently monitoring.
What am I doing wrong?

Have you tried cron for report generation.

I am using cron for report generation for demo.seopanel.in and it works perfectly.

Can you please tell me which version of seo panel you are using.

Yes, I'm using both cron and manual generation.
I have to run the report twice or three times before getting correct values.

I downloaded and installed Seo Panel like 4 days ago – it's the last version I suppose.

Hi, different results can happen.
this is due to the "google dance".
The name "Google Dance" has often been used to describe the index update of the Google search engine. Google's index update occurred on average once per month.

Good info on it is found here: http://dance.efactory.de
Always keep this in mind.
But those results are usually just a little bit different

Currently, the so-called "Google Dance" is a no-factor in SERPs as its effects are really limited since, at least, 2003.
Slight variation are normal, but we no longer see heavy positioning variations in short time.

My problem is about wrong positioning results reported by SeoPanel, not about variation in SERPs – as you can see in the snapshots I posted in the first message.

i have the same issue with seopanel 2.2.1

i have stable position about for 1-2 month tested in 3 browsers and two soft for checking positions.

example
i have position 3 - seopanel says 9
i have position 9 - seopanel says 21

this is not google dance, problem is for about 5% of all checking words

im checking words for 5 countries by cron and manually


any ideas why it shows wrong ?

Yes, it is actually showing the wrong rankings, when i checked it thoroughly, it was because for the results which are hidden, whereas this hidden result should not come there in seopanel ranking results.

I do a little bit faith on the software for SEO. Some time it working great but some times it shows us wrong results.

I always do manually search for my working projects...
