Postby seopanel_forum » Sat Jun 02, 2012 5:30 pm

Please use following steps to fix this error - "Database connection failed! Please check your database settings!"

a) Open below file in a editor

seopanel/config/sp-config-extra.php

b) Enable mysql persistent connection by following change

Code: Select all
# database persistent connection
define('SP_DB_PERSISTENT_CONNECTION', false);

change it to

Code: Select all
# database persistent connection
define('SP_DB_PERSISTENT_CONNECTION', true);

This will fix your issue.
Thanks,

Simply consult your web hosting service provider.

Hi
You need to send a request for an issue fix to your web hosting provider. They normally respond within 2 business days. Sometimes, they may require some additional information, if it's not a common problem. Hope that helps.
