Smart Google SERP

Postby GammaNu » Mon Jun 04, 2012 4:06 pm

hi, i'm looking about precise results but for a large set.
I will explain :
i have 50+ keywords
i would like to get precise result form google (SERP with 10 results and not SERP with 100 results)
i would be able to track postion change in deep pages position (500 or more position in search result)

my problem :
for google scan, SeoPanel look only on the first 100 results and with a unique SERP of 100 results. This SERP is aproximative for positionning because google dont order it results the same way with 10 result by SERP and with 100.
If i change the SeoPanel sql line to use SERP of 10 results and scan 500 first result, the scan is... 50x longer.
Precise results are only usefull for the top 30 results. So for good compromise, i would like to scan :
- the first n (1, 2, or 3) results pages with 10 results by page
- the next n (1, 5 or more) results pages with 100 results by page.

With this feature, to scan up to 500 result with top 30 precise results, the scan is only 8x longer than the inital. that's really better than the 50x longer i tel about few line before.
but this isn't possible with the actual sql data stored about searchengine.

I think this is really good idea and makes smart crawling.

It can be implemented with keyword edit and add form. Add an option to enter the number of results needed for each keyword. I think using this we can implement this feature.

I will try it in next version of seo panel.

So for each keyword, we will have an extendable input area with, for each search engine :
Precise results : (number, with default setup by user)
Deep tracked results : (number, with default setup by user)

if i've well understand, it will be a very smart scan !
