Reports manager intervals

I am a bit confused about the interval settings in reports manager. There are "system report generation interval" under "reports settings" and "reports generation interval" under "schedule reports". How these differ and how these are supposed to work anyway? I have set cron job to be activated once a day.

"system report generation interval" under "reports settings" is the global settings of the seo panel. Once it is set no users can't set a interval less than that from "reports generation interval" under "schedule reports"

Eg: if it set weekly, no users can set it to daily

"reports generation interval" under "schedule reports" is to set particular report generation interval for a user.

OK, thanks. So this affects to all report generation, including cron job, or does it apply only to report generation done via the seo panel (through browser)?

It will effect the reports generated through cron job only.

It seems that the actual crawling takes much longer than calculated from the interval: about one third to double time, depending about the interval. I just have to allocate more time or to shorten the interval. I did split the crawling into 15 keyword sections per cron job execution. I also noticed, that the splitting doesn't work if the previous cron job hasn't finished before new one executes. If the previous crob job hasn't finished, the new execution starts crawling the same keywords as the unfinished.

Thanks for doing research on the issue. Actually in cron job it will not check again a keyword already executed in a day.

Now I have a new problem. The cron job recognizes just the first 3 crawled keywords. In every execution it will crawl the same keywords as in the previous execution minus 3 first keywords from the previous set. I am going to leave this splitting alone, it just doesn't seem to work reliably. Also I have no idea what could explain this behavior, it is very bizarre.
