Hi Friends,

> Long-tail keywords have less competition than generic keywords (lower cost per click (CPC), higher click-through rate (CTR))
> Long-tail keywords are more specific than generic keywords, so ads can be better tailored to match the searcher's needs (higher CTR, higher Quality Score, less wastage from irrelevant searches)
> Long-tail keywords, can provide significant search volume.
> People making long-tail searches are often further along in the buying cycle and more willing to buy than people making generic searches (higher conversion rate)
> These lower CPCs, higher CTRs and higher conversion rates mean long-tail keywords can be extremely profitable (lower cost per acquisition (CPA))

Thanks and Regards

Long tail keywords are cheaper, easier to rank on and more specific than broad generic keywords. Using long keyword phrases that help your site get on the first page of SERP will greatly benefit your online endeavors. One of the great benefit of long tail keywords is the fact that while you are promoting your website for a 3 or 4 word phrase you are also promoting it for every of the words you are using in that key phrase.

Hi everybody

The traffic of a website mostly is brought by the targeted keywords. If there is fierce competition for the targeted keywords. The better choice is the long tail keywords. Compared with the targeted keywords, the long tail keywords can bring more potential client for a website. For many medium or big websites with long tail keywords, lots of their traffic owe to the long tail keywordsas an equally large proportion of the searches are made up of millions of more specific search queries.

Thanks in advance

Your choice of keywords has a significant impact on your search engine rankings. So it's important to take the time to find, analyze and utilize keyword research...i think Long tail keywords are not so effective because people don't search with long keywords they search in short and they will have results. So its not meaningful to use long tail keywords. There is less competition on such kind of keyword is the only benefit.

Many times people get confused between shot keyword and long tail key phrase.long tail keyword comprises of so many keywords resulting in a well defined key phrase. As these are very specific keywords, Using long tail keywords can provide us good page rank to our website. If those keywords are properly used in off page optimization techniques then we can get a better result in improving the site page rank.

Hi mate,
I have read some ware about the same topic.
Here is what they wrote about:
Long-tail keywords produce higher conversion rates and a higher return on investment (ROI) than common keywords or head terms, but the trade-off is, they can be more difficult to find and manage. As noted in Search Engine Journal, the bottom 20% of searches, in terms of volume, generate 60% of conversions! This undeniably confirms the value of the long tail. Long-tail keywords are also less competitive, and therefore less costly to bid on in PPC.

I hope this information helpful to you.

Hello evrybody

Long tail keywords are a type of keyword phrase that has at least three, and some times as many as five words in the phrase. Long tail keywords are used when the website wants to refine search terms to the web page, as well as when the searcher is looking for something rather specific. Like normal keywords, long tail keywords are used to define what is on the web page and what the publisher wants to be found under in search engines and on search engine results pages.

Thanks in advance
